The 11th China International High-tech Industry Expo in Beijing International Exhibition hall began on May 21st,2008.TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance with its 33 member enterprises appearanced in the 4th exhibition hall, showed the latest developments, business development and the future development prospects of TD-SCDMA industry. Many visitors experienced the TD video phone, TD-HSDPA data card high-speed Internet access, and such typical 3 G business.The visitors asked the prices,fees and distribution stores of TD terminal enthusiastically, they all show strong interest on using or purchasing "the TD around us and TD services the Olympics ".
There were nearly 100 types of the mature TD-SCDMA terminals showed on the exhibition,that can provide video phone (including supplementary business), HSDPA high-speed Internet access, video message, video conference, video streaming,Internet data card, E-mail phone, fetion, mobile securities and other typical 3 G business for visitors experiencing.
The Vice-Secretary-General of United Nations Sha Zukang visited TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance exhibition area. Commissioner of the CPC Committee and secretary of Beijing Party municipal committee Mr.Liu Qi, vice minister of Ministry of Science and Technology Mr.Cao Jianlin,CAS President Mr. Lu Yongxiang, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Mr.Pan Yunhe, Vice Mayor of Beijing Mr.Zhao Fengtong, the director-general of Beijing Municipal Industrial Promotion Bureau Mr.Li Ping visited the TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance exhibition area, and listened the wonderful introdcution of the Secretary-General Yang Hua.
All the leaders vistied with great interest and experienced the business of TD-SCDMA terminal,such as phone calls and video streaming. The smooth picture frame and clear textures of the video telephone demonstred by TD-SCDMA terminal made deep impression to the leaders,they gave a high evaluation for the industrial progress and real development made by TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance since April 1st TD-SCDMA community and business commercial trial began.
