(Mar 26th, TDIA) TD Tech Ltd, had its 2nd anniversary today. Thanks to the experience, power and support of its two mother companies！！Siemens and Huawei, TD Tech has made great achievements of TD-SCDMA technology and products in the field of R&D, production, sales and service, which has made TD Tech the leading company in the industry. Now TD Tech is ready for the comprehensive commercialization of TD-SCDMA in China. Up till now, the two mother companies have invested more than 300 million USD in the R&D of TD-SCDMA products and technology.
From its foundation, TD Tech has attracted widely attention from the industry. Being its mother company, Siemens has began its TD-SCDMA research early in 1998, and Huawei also contributed a lot from the very beginning of TD Tech. Although TD Tech only has its history of 2 years, actually it has already had technology accumulation for more than 10 years. Thus, thanks to its powerful technology background, during 2 years, TD Tech has got astonishing achievements and breakthroughs in TD-SCDMA: the first whole TD-SCDMA wireless network commercial product; 3G application such as WAP、IMS、HSDPA、Media Streaming based on TD-SCDMA platform; firstly open its TD-SCDMA lab; provide the best test platform for TD-SCDMA terminal and chipset.
In the anniversary ceremony, Mr. Maler, the CEO of TD Tech said:＾Fortunately TD Tech has two very powerful mother companies, which give us strong support and makes TD Tech, a brand new company, build up every chain such as R&D, marketing and sales in very short time. This makes us more competitive. We can reactive quickly to market situation and customer demand, so as to make our customer more satisfied. Now we are very ready for the commercialization of TD-SCDMA in China.￣
During the last 2 years, TD Tech actively took part in TD-SCDMA trial organized by MII and the final performance is very satisfied. In the different stage of trial, TD Tech brought up many solutions to some key and common problems, which is welcomed by other companies in the trial. Meanwhile, it also proved the stability of TD-SCDMA technology and the R&D level and serve ability of TD Tech.
Through the large scale trial, it has been proved that TD Tech can provide high quality products for Chinese operators. Now, TD-SCDMA has formed a mature and complete industry chain in China from chipset to equipment and terminal.
As a joint venture focusing on TD-SCDMA, TD Tech will continuously make use of the technology advantages from the two mother companies to further complete TD-SCDMA technology and service, thus to contribute more to the industrialization of TD-SCDMA in China.
