DATANG Mobile – SKT Established TD-SCDMA Cooperating Application R&D Center
——To Accelerate TD-SCDMA Application R&D

　　(Feb. 6th, 2007) Datang Mobile and SKT announced today to set up TD-SCDMA cooperating application R&D center. With the new center in Datang Mobile Corporation, the both parties will develop and test TD-SCDMA applications together. Officers from National Development and Reform Commission and MII attended the opening ceremony today.

　　 From the first half year of 2006, Datang mobile and SKT have had widely communication about TD-SCDMA technology. In Aug. 29 th , 2006, thanks to the guide and help from National Development and Reform Commission, MII, the Ministry of Science and Technology and Korea governments, the Sino Korea memorandum on TD-SCDMA cooperation was signed. According to this memorandum, Datang Mobile and SKT will set up TD-SCDMA cooperating application R&D center to develop representative 3G applications. It is introduced that by means of this center, the both parties will jointly promote TD-SCDMA industrialization and commercialization in service supply, terminal, network operating solution, etc.
