Organized by ITU (International Telecom Union), ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006 will be held during Dec. 4th to 8th at Hong Kong Asia World-Expo. TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance (TDIA), the active promoter and leading organizer of TD-SCDMA industry, will attend this great event together with 20 TD-SCDMA enterprises and hold a global workshop on Dec. 4th.
TDIA will have the booth in Hall 2, with the square meter of 378. The exhibition of TDIA will be a full range of TD-SCDMA Industry chain, which includes system equipment, chipset, terminal, tester and antenna. At TDIA booth, visitors can fluently try different 3G services based on TD-SCDMA and TD-HSDPA service; browse all kinds of TD-SCDMA products; learn the experience of networking planning and terminal solutions; and get the latest development of TD-SCDMA Industry.
Meanwhile, associating with TD-SCDMA Forum, TDIA will have a global workshop on Dec. 4th (13:00！16:00, 201A, Level 2, Hall 3, Asia World-Expo), with the theme of ＾New technology, New Solution, New Choice￣. The main topics of this workshop include network planning and optimization, terminal solutions, technology roadmap, industry development and market internationalization. The workshop will be a communication platform for high-level end to end, which will largely promote the corporation from home to abroad.
ITU TELECOM WORLD was founded by ITU, the special institute of the United Nations, in 1971. Up till now, ITU TELECOM WORLD has been hold for 9 times in Geneva. ITU TELECOM WORLD is now the highest level and largest scale telecom exhibition in the world, which is called the OLYMPIC in ICT field because of its authority, scale and representation.
For the first time, ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006 will be held in Hong Kong, out of Geneva, so Chinese government and Hong Kong government both pay high attention to this great issue. TD-SCDMA will be an important topic this time due to its obvious advantages and rapidly developing core competition. ＾TD-SCDMA technology and Service Pavilion￣ has been emphasized by the organizer in all propaganda documents.
